A designer to look for this year, is up and coming Yotam Solomon
Yotam Solomon, born 1987 in Israel, is a Los Angeles based fashion designer. Solomon attended fashion school, and had an eye for the beauty at an early age. He moved to Los Angeles in 2003, and graduated from Santa Susana in 2005.
The designer was admitted to the world renowned FIDM in the summer of 2005. Time is money, and just after graduation, he started his own brand in 2007. The first collection was ready by the age of 20, at Los Angeles Fashion Week 2008. He is the youngest fashion designer to ever show in LAFW.
His inspirations are «the beautiful universe, the stars and the sky». The designer applies all his knowledge of his ancestry in the designs, and the results - beautiful avant-garde dresses!
His trademark is said to be geometric patterns, very architectural like shapes, and cutouts. People obviously like it, because it Yotam Solomon is known as an eponymus luxury brand.
His recent success has also given him some time in the spotlight. He has been featured in British Vogue, LA Magazine, WWD, Cliche Magazine and recently Bello Magazine. British Vogue noted that Solomon is living proof that showmanship and high fashion is intact in Los Angeles.
